2009 RPX RAMS Plus User Exchange - Barcelona, Spain
The 2009 RPX RAMS Plus User Exchange was hosted by AENA in Barcelona in June 2009. Users from around the world met to see what's new in RAMS Plus, and to see how other users around the world apply the RAMS Plus tool in support of their management decision making processes.
RAMS Plus RPX 2008

RAMS Plus Used in Environmental Tradeoffs Study - April 2005
ISA Software has two papers accepted to the 6th USA/Europe Seminar on ATM Research & Development hosted in Baltimore on June 27-30, 2005. One of the papers, written in collaboration with EUROCONTROL, deals with environmental tradeoff assessment around airports. RAMS Plus was the tool of choice to provide the analytic metrics used for this paper.

RAMS Plus Participates in an R&D Test Platform - July 2004
The UK Government's EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Scienses Research Council) are funding a three-year research programme on Robust Conflict Detection and Resolution Taking Into Account Flight Data Uncertainty. This research is headed by the Imperial College Center for Transport Studies (CTS) in London, with support from NATS UK, EUROCONTROL HQ Brussels, Glasgow University, and ISA Software Ltd. R&D topics consist of (1) characterising the quality of navigation data as well as (2) identifying relevant data for pilots together with its associated uncertainies, (3) the development of conflict detection and conflict resolution algorithms incorporating metrics of uncertainty, (4) the implementation of of these algorithms on a test platform, and (5) the impact of delegation of responsibilities from the controller to the pilot.
RAMS Plus Groundside Aiport Operations - June 2004
The RAMS Plus Groundside airport operations model is now available at an introductory competive cost. The Groundside component models airport operations and ground delay, from departure gate to SID and from STAR to arrival gate. Features include runway accel/decel rates, runway blocking/crossing/back-tracking, shortest-path taxiing, gate allocation, ground separation, and much more.
RAMS Plus Goes To China - May 2004
Air Services Australia (ASA) have chosen RAMS Plus for two of their current commercial applications in China. The first application uses the RAMS Plus Airport Component in a capacity study of the proposed new layout at Shenzhen Baoan International Airport. The follow-on application, applying RAMS Plus airspace & TMA modelling, is the analysis of the proposed traffic increase on the surrounding Pearl River Delta airspace.
The 2004 RAMS Plus Exchange (RPX) - May 2004
The 2004 RAMS Plus Exchange (RPX) User Group Meeting was hosted by NAV Portugal in Lisbon on May 13th & 14th, 2004.
Attended by a spectrum of principle players ATM simulation community, where we discussed analysis techniques, shared ideas, and suggested future enhancements for RAMS Plus. .
For more details see RPX 2004 Hotel & Agenda.
Gate-to-Gate in RAMS Plus™ 5.00 - November 2003
To provide a global macro gate-to-gate view of the air traffic system being simulated, airport ground movement operations and their associated delay and impacts on the system (e.g. gate selection, gate occupancy, gate push-back, taxi-paths, taxi-route algorithms, taxi times, airframe turnaround times, etc.) are now available in RAMS Plus™ 5.00.
For more details see Gate-to-Gate In RAMS Plus™.
RAMS Plus™ for Universities - May 2003
The complete RAMS Plus tool, along with the flexible ATM Analyser reporter package, is now available for universities.
This is but one way that ISA Software promotes a dynamic ATM fast-time simulation community by providing high fidelity, high quality, high reliabilty and cost-effective ATM analysis tools that are continually evolving to meet user simulation and analysis requirements.
The RAMS Plus simulator is available on the familiar Windows NT/2003/XP operating systems, and requires only a standard off-the-shelf PC to access its full functionality.
This offer is available for research and educational purposes at special terms.
